Worldwide Less-Than-Container-Load (LCL) Service
Thompson Freight Services can offer seafreight LCL (Less Than Container Load) services to most major global destinations. We use both regular shipping services as well as groupage services.

Seafreight is an economical solution for non-urgent international shipping, and when the cargo size is less than the capacity of a shipping container, it is more cost-effective to use LCL services..

Groupage services are dedicated routes between two locations, with the major benefit being that the container does not need unpacking and repacking en-route, making the service less expensive.

LCL cargo is shipped to a receiving depot near the customer’s location or shipped directly to the dock where it is loaded into a container ready for delivery.

LCL transport is ideal for non-urgent deliveries and is used for items such as personal effects, pallets and boxes.

Worldwide Air Freight Service
For more urgent consignments or smaller items, air freight is an excellent option. The charge for your air freight is dependent on the weight and volume of your effects. We offer several different services to locations all over the world and many flights leave daily ensuring the most efficient service. Our service options include ‘door to door’ and ‘door to airport’ air freight service, and can incorporate Customs Clearance facilities
